Board Members

Following are the current Board Members of Central NSW Tourism.  They were elected for the term 2010-2011. 


 

 

 

Peter Hale

Chair of Central NSW Tourism. Peter is also the CEO of the Forum of Regional Tourism Organisations. He resides in Scone where he and his partner own a B&B.



Chris Porter

Is the owner of Newhaven Park House at Georges Plains, Bathurst. For the past six years he has been hosting schools on excursion to the Blue Mountains and the Central West. Chris aims to be a spokesperson for small business operators that are involved in developing and improving Educational Tours.



Lucy White

Lucy is the CEO for Mudgee Region Tourism Inc and has experiences in a range of roles within local government and the local wine and tourism industries.



Bernadette Riley

Bernadette is a Willah Wiradjuri woman of the Tubbah Gah people. Translated she is a Possum woman of the Wiradjuri Nation of the Red Ochre, Dubbo Clan. Bernadette has been involved in the development of Aboriginal tourism for many years and is a current Board member of the Dubbo Local Aboriginal Land Council.

John Whittall

Jana Pickles

Jana and her partner, Graham, own Burrawang West Station, located at Ootha, Central NSW. She has extensive experience in marketing quality outback experiences to international visitors and contributes significantly to the regional community. She brings to the board extensive experience in both marketing and developing visitor experiences for luxury niche markets.

 

Christine LeFevre

Owner, Bishops Court, Bathurst and member of Amazing Country Escapes.
